COLESTOUT, Red Rice extract fermented at 3/5% in Monacolin K: 100% NATURAL product, lowers cholesterol levels by associating an antioxidant action.

Nutratrade srl proposes a new product based on fermented red rice with a content of 3% or 5% of Monacolin K, an important metabolite obtained from the fermentation process of the yeast Monascus Purpureus with strong inhibitory capacity of the enzyme HMG-CoA-reductase (3-hydroxy -3-methyl-glutaryl-CoenzymeA-reductase), one of the key enzymes involved in the hepatic synthesis of cholesterol.
100% natural product, Colestout has a hypo-cholesterol-lowering action that leads to a reduction in low-density cholesterol (LDL) and an increase in high-density cholesterol (HDL), with a consequent reduction in the LDL / HDL ratio, which is fundamental for effective treatment of dyslipidemias. It is the fermentation process of Monascus Purpureus itself that introduces the monacolins complex into red rice, a set of natural molecules, among which Monacolin K (MKA) stands out for its reactivity, which structurally competes with 3-hydroxy-3-methyl -CoA-reductase for the active site (point where the chemical reaction takes place) of the enzyme HMG-CoA-reductase obtaining the blocking of the same metabolic path which, passing through intermediates such as mevalonate and squalene, leads to the synthesis of cholesterol in the liver, thus directly reducing its endogenous production.
The hypo-cholesterol-lowering action implemented by Colestout is made particularly effective by the process synergy between the various constituents of the phytocomplex (in fact, the fermented red rice contains starch, fatty acids, phytosterols, isoflavones, monacolins, natural pigments called monascine, monascorubins) which enhance the properties of each component during the fermentation process. Colestout normalizes total cholesterol levels, with a particularly effective work of reducing LDL cholesterol levels, commonly defined "bad cholesterol" (responsible for vascular damage) and increasing HDL, or "good cholesterol", which is acts as a scavenger allowing an efficient elimination of excess cholesterol.
Colestout associates the hypo-cholesterol-lowering action with an activity of restoring the physiological levels of triglycerides with consequent reduction of triglyceridemia as well as stimulating the antioxidant effect given by the inhibition of the degradation of Coenzyme A which intervenes in basic metabolic pathways such as oxidation of fatty acids and cellular respiration.
Colestout is available with a Monacolin K content of 3% and 5%, where the acid: lactone ratio, recognized as a quality marker, is the highest on the market, in order to guarantee the 100% natural origin of the product same, also the conversion of Monacolin K into its acid form, a direct inhibitor of HMG-CoA-reductase, once in contact with water.
The quality and natural origin of the Colestout product is certified by analyzes conducted in Italian laboratories, which resulted in a Gluten-free, allergen-free, citrinin-free, BTSE / TSE-free, irradiation-free and GMO-free product. . In addition, the dosage analyzes of the active ingredients in the different forms were carried out using HPLC-MS technology (high performance liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry), the microbial count (Mycotoxin-free) and the analysis of the naturalness of the product through the measurement of isotope ratios (13C / 12C), which allow to certify that the product contains Monacolin deriving from M.
